The Bathhouse/Shower has been Completed!
We are so excited to announce that the Bathhouse/shower has been completed! It is wheelchair accessible and ready for campers!
How we're building the first camp specifically designed for special-needs children in Belize and providing disability inclusion training in Missouri.
WATCH THE VIDEOOUR MISSION
Our Nonprofit, NGO organization is called Se Konsa which means “that’s right!” Currently our ministry includes outreaches into villages, hospitals, schools, and to families with special needs children. As our ministry touches mothers, fathers, children, the sick, teachers, and even the men and women that work at the camp, our desire is to show God’s love.
ABOUT US
We are the Emmons family of 10 with 5 grown children in the US, and 2 adopted children from China with special needs. Our desire to help special needs children started with the adoption of our first special needs daughter from China in 2005. Our love for children with special needs continued to grow with the adoption of our son in 2011. This set us on the path of Inclusion-Adaptation-Accommodation-Modification both in Missouri and in the country of Belize.
